Skills that will help in english 0950

The skills I’ve learned in Eglish 0750 will help me in English 0950 by asking someone else to proofread my writing or assignment so I can get feedback on what I should leave in or take out. Also writing a summary or insrtuctions. And most important my Essay writng. Knowing how to fix a incomplete or fused sentence. That whe n writing an Essay your paragraphs should focus on the subjcet and have organization. That each paragraph should support the main idea. That when writing an Essay it should have an introduction, body, and conclusion. There should be a thesis statement at the beggining of your introduction.

revising my assignments

Well revising my old assignments I noticed I need to improve more on my grammar and punctuation skills, Also my sentence structure. But as I worked on each assignment I noticed I had improved in each skill. My writing became more clear as well as my language usage. Well taking this class I have identifed my strengths and weaknesses towards my writing skills. And now I have added more to my strengths and have very few weaknesses. each of the assignments has helped me improve in more then one way or another towards my writing. Was one of my favorite classes this semester. Enjoyed it.

Writing Skills

The writing skills that I’ve developed are better grammar and punctuation skills. also see more improvment in my summary writing and essay writing. Which I know will help me in my future English classes. English 0750 has  helped me improve in all those skills. Had helped me become a better writer then I was before. All five assignments have been very heplful . Each has taught me soumthing new. Not only will these writing skills help me in my future English classes, they will help me in other classes as well. seeing as all my class have to do with some type of writing.

Revising My Essay

Well revising my essay I noticed I had very few grammar and punctuation errors. Compared to my other assignments. This tells me that i have improved in those areas. I liked doing this assignment the most , because it helped me see that know matter what challenges come my way I’ll be able to get through them. What I also liked about the assignment was we were able to pick the subject of the topic we wanted to right about. Writing this Essay will help me in my next class English 0950. It gave me an idea about what I’ll be doing next semester.

Portfolio Assignments

I chose my three portfolio assignments by how many points I got on them. Each of my three assignments had a score of either 4 or 5. By picking these assignments I thought it would show what good work I had done and what little revisions I had to make on them. I chose my Application Packet, Summary, And Review for my portfolio. When revising all three I had noticed I need to improve more on my punctuation and grammar skills. I should also proof read more than once before turning an assignment it. by doing this i might have noticed the little mistakes i made and could have fixed them myself.

Revising My Instruction Assignment

Right now I am working on revising my instruction assignment. I’ve added a couple more visuals to my steps. Touched up my sentences with the right punctucations. Which I still need to improve on a bit. This assignment I might use for my portfolio. Before revising it i got a 4 as my score. Im hoping that this time when I turn it in I get a 5. This assignment was a helpful skill. It taught me to use a step by step method also using visuals so that you know that your doing  the steps correctly. I thought this assignment was helpful.
